What Rules Can Get Me Disqualified at iFunds?
iFunds has few rules, and that makes the two that matter easy to miss. Here is what ends an account and how to avoid it.

Short answer: there are two main ways to lose an iFunds account: 1) hitting the maximum allowed loss, and 2) using market manipulation techniques such as latency arbitrage. Everything else you might fear from other firms, such as consistency rules or daily limits, is not part of iFunds' stated rules.
1. The maximum loss limit
The maximum overall loss is 10% by default and static, measured from the initial balance. It does not trail upward as you make profit.
| Account | Default 10% limit (example) |
|---|---|
| $2,500 Intern | $250 |
| $5,000 Starter | $500 |
| $10,000 Ambition | $1,000 |
These are illustrations of 10% of the initial balance. Check your own account's limit at checkout, since iFunds lets the drawdown be adjusted.
2. Market manipulation
iFunds names latency arbitrage and similar techniques. For automation, the rules also mention HFT and methods that iFunds' liquidity providers consider abusive. Details in is auto-trading allowed.
What does NOT disqualify you
- ✓A big winning day (no consistency rule).
- ✓A bad day within the overall limit (no daily drawdown limit).
- ✓Trading from several locations (multiple IPs are allowed).
- ✓Using a normal copier (trade copiers).
- ✓Holding over the weekend with enough margin.
A simple protection plan
- ✓Risk a fixed small percentage of the account per trade, so a losing streak cannot reach the limit.
- ✓Add up open-trade risk, not just one position.
- ✓Read the Terms and Conditions once. They are what actually govern your account.
When you are ready, apply a working iFunds coupon code and start with the smallest plan.
