Short answer: there is no daily drawdown limit at iFunds. The only loss limit is the maximum overall loss, which is static (based on the initial balance) and 10% by default.

Static vs trailing

A trailing drawdown moves up as your account grows, so profit can actually shrink your cushion. A static drawdown stays fixed at the original level. With a static limit, if you make profit the distance to the limit grows rather than shrinking.

Worked examples (default 10%)

AccountMax lossAccount value that would breach
$2,500$250$2,250
$5,000$500$4,500
$10,000$1,000$9,000

Illustrative: 10% of the initial balance. Confirm your own limit on iFunds.io and in the Terms.

The profit split trade-off

iFunds says you can adjust the maximum drawdown and the profit split: a lower drawdown earns a higher split (the site mentions splits up to 80%). The plans show 50% and 10% as defaults. The slider's full range is shown at registration.

How to trade without a daily limit

  • ✓You can have a bad day and recover, as long as you stay inside the overall limit.
  • ✓But a single oversized day can still breach it. With 1:100 leverage this happens faster than traders expect.
  • ✓Set your own daily stop, because the firm will not set one for you.

Before you buy: verify the maximum drawdown for your plan at checkout on iFunds.io. Leveraged trading can lose your entire investment.
