Short answer: you pay a participation fee, iFunds assigns part of its own capital to a dedicated account, you trade it, and you receive the profit split as long as you stay within the maximum loss limit and the terms.
Step by step
- 1Choose a plan.
Intern ($2.5K account, $250 fee), Starter ($5K, $400) or Ambition ($10K, $700). Compare in Intern vs Starter vs Ambition.
- 2Pay the fee.
Apply a coupon code at checkout if you have one.
- 3Trade the account.
You trade through a dedicated account on a third-party platform, with iFunds' execution technology.
- 4Stay inside the limit.
The maximum overall loss is 10% by default and static, measured from the initial balance.
- 5Withdraw profit.
Profit can be withdrawn from $50 at any time. See the minimum withdrawal and payout speed.
The numbers worth knowing
- ✓Profit split: 50% on the plans shown. iFunds says the split can be adjusted, with a lower max drawdown earning a higher split.
- ✓Leverage: up to 1:100, adjusted dynamically with your risk level.
- ✓Drawdown: static, based on the initial balance. On a $5,000 account at 10%, that is $500.
- ✓Weekend holding: allowed if you have enough margin.
- ✓Hedging and news trading: permitted.
Who can trade
iFunds restricts residents of certain countries, and its list includes the USA, Iran, North Korea, Israel, Myanmar, South Sudan and Sudan. Check the full, current list on iFunds.io before paying.
Where this can go wrong
Breaching the maximum loss limit or using market manipulation such as latency arbitrage ends the account. Read what can get you disqualified before you start.
