Short answer: yes. iFunds allows trade copiers without restriction, as long as the trades being copied do not use manipulative techniques such as latency arbitrage.
What counts as a trade copier
A copier replicates trades from a source account to one or more destination accounts, usually within milliseconds. Traders use them to run the same strategy on several accounts, or to follow a signal provider.
The one condition
The copied trades must not involve manipulation. A copier does not make a manipulative trade acceptable, and it does not make an acceptable trade suspicious. Read what can get you disqualified.
Setting up a copier safely
- ✓Scale the lot size to each account's own maximum loss. Copying the same lots to a $2,500 and a $10,000 account breaches the small one first.
- ✓Mind slippage and latency. Do not engineer speed advantages; that is the type of behavior iFunds prohibits.
- ✓Use stable infrastructure. A VPS is fine. Different IP addresses are allowed.
- ✓Test on a small plan first. The Intern plan has the smallest fee.
